This game is based on a dream I'd had in 2022 about a tamagotchi-like handheld game where you'd take care of an egg and it would change into a different kind of monster based on how you cared for it. The game would feature a main room where you cared for the egg as well as an explorable map where you could find new items, money to spend at a shop and characters with which you could play minigames.

The maps of all of the areas were made in Bitsy Colour+ and were later stitched together to create rooms big enough to fit on the gameboy. the sprites and ui were done in pixilart.

NOTE: Attempting to play the cat's minigame will softlock you. Choosing any option on the menu that isn't the exiting door will also softlock you because those options dont actually go anywhere.
